We, at Makara Jyothi, strive to delight you when you shop with us. With this in mind, given below is some important information about how we process your order.

We sell and ship out products to all countries in the World, except for the following countries

Please note that the above list is indicative and is likely to change from time to time.  While placing an order if you do not have any shipping methods listed, we are unable to ship to that country.

Currency Conversion

Payment Gateways convert currency automatically during the check out process.  There will be variations in the amount you are being charged in your currency based on the conversion applied. The currency convertor shared in the website is for estimation purposes only.  Currency Exchange rates applied by the Payment Gateway during checkout is final and binding.

Payment Partners

We use RazorPay as our payment partner for all domestic payments and Stripe for International Payments.

Payment Methods

When you place an order from India, you can pay using any Debit or Credit Card issued in India, Net Banking and UPI. We support Visa, MasterCard and Rupay cards for payments in India.

When you place an order from outside India, you can pay through your Credit or Debit Card through the Stripe payment gateway.

Realization of Payments

All domestic payments are transferred to our account three business days (T + 3)  (excluding weekends and holidays) from date of transaction (T).

All international payments are transferred to our account seven business days (T + 7) (excluding weekends and holidays) from date of transaction (T).

Fraudulent Transactions

All payment gateways employ automated methods to track fraudulent transactions.

Sometimes, though rarely, genuine transactions are also wrongly identified as fraudulent.  In such cases, the payment gateway provider or our banking partners may request for additional documents.  In all such cases, we will let you know about the documents requested for.  In case you are unable or unwilling to provide the documents we will be unable to process your order.

Makara Jyothi will not be responsible for any delay due to the transactions being flagged as fraudulent.

Order processing

All orders will be processed only after payments are received in our bank accounts.

All orders are processed on the same day on which the payment is credited in our bank accounts.

However, orders for which payments are received after 12:00 noon IST will be processed on the next business day.

Order Processing Duration

We ship all our orders within 3 business days from the date of receipt of payment. We will keep you posted if there is an unforeseen delay in shipping due to any reason.

Tracking your order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us with a tracking number and tracking link that you can use to check your order status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

All orders are shipped with shipping charges paid from our end.  However, Customs duties and other levies at the port of embarkation will have to be borne by you.  While we take necessary precautions to ensure that the products that we list can be shipped worldwide without any issues, in some rare cases, some products may be in  the restricted or prohibited list of items in your country.  Please verify that the products you purchase from our store is not in the restricted / prohibited list in your country before placing an order with us.  Makara Jyothi is responsible for shipping the products and will not be responsible if any product is held at the customs for any reason.

If you haven’t received your order within 20 days from the date of shipping confirmation, please contact us at support@makarajyothi.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
